The "Technical Study Tour on Social Forestry to Enhance Capacity Building through Knowledge Sharing of Malaysian Delegates" was conducted from 27 to 29 April 2015 in Bangkok and Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The participants were five personnel from the Department of Forestry Malaysia and one personnel from the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, a nongovernmental organization (NGO). This activity was conducted to gain experience from Thailand in implementing product-oriented social forestry activities and learn at least one of the best approaches and model practices in social forestry.
