A study was conducted in Banmo Patthananukun Secondary School in Banmo, Saraburi Province, Thailand, from April 15 to July 31, 1986 to orient the teachers with the principles, objectives and structure of the New Curriculum. To achieve this, a training was conducted on how to construct instructional modules. It was attended by 70 teachers and five resource persons. It consisted of lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Modules were tried in the classrooms and an evaluation was done on the teachers' perception, attitudes and expectations of the New Curriculum. Tools for evaluation were a questionnaire, interview schedule and personal observation. Although the teachers have good knowledge on the attitude toward the New Curriculum and the teaching modules, they had much difficulty in making statements of objectives.
