Disaggregate and aggregate models based on time series data were developed for the period 1960-1975. Disaggregate and aggregate models were employed to formulate demand supply and price of teak lumber and every kind of lumber, respectively. The study founfound that price elasticity of demand for teak lumber was about 2.89, indicating that the quantity demanded is moderately responsive to changes in price, and in the same direction. This was attributed to the fact that the quantity of teak lumber production is limited and other kinds of construction material cannot be substituted satisfactorily for teak lumber.
