Title: Effectiveness of three techniques of identifying leaders in Lam Pao Irrigation Project, Northeast, Thailand

This study was conceptualized to find out the effectiveness of three techniques of identifying leaders to act as key communicators in Thailand. These key communicators would then be trained and supported in order to transmit the technology and their influence to other villagers and to identify common problems. The objective of the study was to compare the three techniques: the sociometric, the key informant's rating, and the Department of Agricultural Extension techniques, and find out which would yield the best leaders in several types of villages.
