This study aims to determine some economic factors affecting income of farmers in a Land Reform Area. Some of the economic factors were related with net income through a tabular presentation. On the other hand, some of the important economic factors were related to gross income by fitting of a mathematical function using empirical data. Results of the study show that landlord share contributed about 65 percent to the total variable cost of the tenants. Likewise, land rent contributed about 91 percent to the total fixed cost of the lessee. These factors largely contributed to the variation in net income. On the other hand, the different factors affecting increase in gross income were land, labor, operating cash expenses, farm tools and equipment, livestock and poultry.
