Summary : The study sought to (1) present a profile of practical arts teachers; (2) determine the training needs of the practical arts teachers; (3) determine the significant difference between practical arts teachers' perception for their training needs and type of schools; (4) determine the problems met by the practical arts teachers. One hundred sixty of the practical arts teachers in 12 provincial high schools, 48 barangay high schools, and 28 private high schools in Nueva Ecija served as the respondents of this study. A questionnaire was used in gathering the data. The results showed that the average age of the respondents was 33; the average year of teaching practical arts was 5.4; and the average salary per month was P 594.00.
