This study mainly sought to find out some of the socio-economic factors that are related to the adoption of ANP practices; determine the degree of relationship between those selected factors and the adoption of ANP practices; pinpoint the factors that would make significant contributions to adoption of ANP practices by the households; and identify some of the reasons for the non-adoption of ANP practices. Data were gathered by interviewing 130 household heads in six selected villages in Mukim Tanjung XII. The analysis of data used, besides the descriptive were Pearson's product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The findings indicated that out of 15 ANP practices the recommended health practices generally attained a higher level of adoption than food production practices.
