Title: Expressed needs of homemakers as a basis for extension program planning in Pila, Laguna, Philippines

This study attempted to make an analysis of the needs of homemakers for the content and priority for extension programs. The perceptions of both homemakers and program proponents were explored. It also tried to study the role of the perceptual variable, dissatisfactions of homemakers with their present conditions, as an intervening factor between the selected variables and felt needs of homemakers. The investigation of the relationships between certain selected variables, namely socio-economic status, exposure to external influences, age of homemakers, barrio of residence and need state on homemakers' felt needs was also a major consideration of the study.
