The total production of fresh milk in Indonesia is low, as the average quality of livestock feed is inferior. It is estimated that the Indonesian dairy cow produces an average of only 9-10 liters of fresh milk per day compared to 20 liters in developed countries. Farmers with an average of 3-5 cows each most of the dairy cows.
