The general objective of the study was to determine impact of the LIK-Trans. Roviga project among the indigenous people in upland areas of Kelurahan Tondo. Specifically, it aimed to (a) determine the management; (b) identify and assess the micro impact of the project on the socio-economic status of the indigenous people families around the project; and (c) identify the existing policies related management of transmigration and indigenous people. The results revealed that the project has a poor performance because of crisis in management, especially on project leadership, coordination and control. There were no significant government management intervention in providing improvements on the socio-economic status of the indigenous people in upland areas of Kelurahan Tondo seven (7) years after the LIK-Trans. Roviga project was implemented in the indigenous areas. The study was also conducted to 71 households of indigenous people from two majors settlements in upland areas of Kelurahan Tondo, Palu-Central Sulawesi Province. Data were gathered using an interview schedule. The study concludes that there were no positive impact of the LIK-Trans. Roviga project to the indigenous people in upland areas of Kelurahan Tondo.
