Assessing the suitability of an area for Agricultural crops require a considerable effort in terms of information collection that presents both opportunities and limitations to decision-makers. A DSS was developed for specified crops based on 9 criteria of climatic requirements (average annual precipitation and annual mean temperature) and the quality and characteristics of land (slope, drainage, soil texture, soil depth, soil CEC, soil base saturation, and soil pH). The Jambi province is the case study area. The main objective of this study was to develop a land suitability decision support system and to determine the suitability classes for selected crops in study area. In Jambi, about 47% of total area is not available to change its landuse classes; the rest 53% is moderately and marginally suitable for each crop. Only about 0.1% was found as not suitable for any crop. The resulted suitability sites will be informed to the user via application AgriDSS software and WebPages.
