Summary : The activity of farming system in the Serayu Cathment Area, Wonosobo Regency, applies less observation the sustainability aspect as it uses big amount of chemical production media with less environment conservation handling. But there are general characteristics which shows that farmers can be aimed for more conservation farming system activity. Besides, there is government policy in the field of conservation which gets good response from society and of course it is followed by technical and capital aid. Meanwhile, when we compared the two villages located at the Crop Pattern, Wonosobo Regency, it shows that Parikesit village would rather perform the sustainability work than Dieng village. The activity of farming system of vegetable commodity with various crop pattern in the Serayu Catchment Area, Wonosobo Regency is profitable. The activity of farming system of vegetable commodity which gives highest profit is found in Parikesit village which applied multicultural crop pattern. The proportion of cost for chemical manure and pesticide is quite big. This shows that the farming system in the Crop Pattern, Wonosobo Regency, is not oriented to the sustainability of farming system.
