In the administration of vocational agricultural schools there are numerous assignments and responsibility of the principal with varying degrees of importance. The principal as an administrator is faced with many conflicting demands and expectations. Therefore, a serious problem for him is how to spend his time wisely and effectively in the administration of the school program. Thus, this study was conducted (1) to find out how the principal actually used his school time as perceived by principals and teachers; (2) to find out the preferred use of the principal's school time as perceived by the principals and teachers; (3) to compare the perceptions of the principals and the teachers on how the principal actually used his school time and how he preferred to use his school time; (4) to determine the different actual activities of principals and their preferred activities under each of their functions; (5) to determine some factors associated with the principal's actual time allocation.
