Summary : From the beginning Lao has changing administration system to the Lao Peoples Democratic Republic Lao PDR. The government of Lao PDR has focused the overall goal of agricultural development sector for developing the basic of national in social and economic especially is rice production and for enough consumption in all country and included accumulate stock when happen the emergency. Lao PDR is agricultural and developing country. Basically, rice is a staple food of Lao people and nearly 80% of Lao populations are farmers. So considering the rice is a main crop, government has found that rice seed production is a shortage in the country. Thus rice register seed multiplication is an essential issue for improved the rice yield production of farmers. Although, there are 6 rice multiplication center in all the country keeping that as a database, government has planned encourage more farmers to produce more rice seed by increasing cultivation areas through technical assistance. This research was conducted to study about FActors relating Farmers' Adoption of Rice Register Seed Cultivation Tha Dock Kham 1 in Saythany District Vientiane Capital Lao PDR. The research purpose was to study the: (1) socio-economic status and background of farmers in Saythany District; (2) their opinions toward the correlation between contracts and practical adoption of farmers in Saythany District; (3) finding out some influence factors which related the farmers on rice register seed cultivation Tha Dock Kham 1; (4) their constraints and recommendations in rice seed cultivation of farmers in Saythany District. The expected output is to know some factors relating farmers' adoption about rice seed cultivation Tha Dock Kham 1 and to supporting rice seed station center a good planning about rice seed multiplication in future; to know their constraints and recommendations in rice seed cultivation of farmers who produce rice seed for Napock station; basic data for other research in the future.
