The study was conducted in two district of Thai Nguyen province, Viet Nam to look into the management and biosecurity practices technologies on the productivity of chickens and farmer's perception changing. The result showed that, free range raising appears to be the most common practice in general. The production performance of chickens was low with high mortality rate and poor FCR. In general, few biosecurity measures were implemeted in chicken farms. As small sclae farmers, some of them do not only raise chicken but also other animal and without practice separation and fencing. Almost all respondents said that they do not use protective measures when in contact with their chicken an very few carry out disinfection of equipment and premises. There was a significant difference on the effcets type of model on the livability rate, final bodyweight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, performance index, and the direct cost of the crossbred chickens F1 (_ Ri x _ Sasso). Biosecurity model has higher performance than non-biosecurity model. Biosecurity technologies had influenced on farmers' perception changing in raising of chickens. Demonstrated model was an effective way to transfer technology to the farm level.
