This workshop's objectives are to map priorities, opportunities, and challenges of SEAMEO or to synthesize research priorities (i.e., what have been done before, what can still be done, etc.). Part of the expected outputs from this three-day activity is to be able to come up with a structure or a set of functions of CPRN, corresponding mechanisms, and action plan.
One of the unique functions of the SEAMEO College is to anticipate problems before they appear; it should be forward-looking. It will fall on the lap of the CPRN to be in the lead to help the SEAMEO College in sensing trends and emerging needs.
