In the context of a renewed ambition and commitment to support the biodiversity conservation agenda, this webinar, co-developed by IUCN and SEARCA, aimed to introduce NbS and the ways in which they can be integrated into development projects. Titled Nature-Based Solutions: Working with Nature to Help Address Some of Society’s Most Pressing Challenges, the webinar was organized primarily to develop an understanding of key NbS concepts and practices and provide tools for mainstreaming/strengthening NbS in project design, implementation, and monitoring. It covered three major sessions: Session 1 introduced the NbS concept. It covered the discussion on its background, definition, and key examples from Southeast Asia.; Session 2 presented the IUCN Global Standards for NbS.; and Session 3 presented country experiences related to NbS with two case presentations.
