Summary : In pursuing the program thrust of enhancing the capabilities of Southeast Asian educators, SEAMEO INNOTECH conducted training courses, seminars, workshops and fora under varied sponsorships. These include training programs conducted by all Program units of the Centre - Training Unit, Long Term Capability Building Unit (LTCBU), Flexible Learning Solutions Unit (FLSU), Research and Development Unit (RDU), and the Research Services Unit (RSU). In accordance with the priority strategic goals of the Centre laid out in its Seventh Five Year Development Plan, the Flexible Learning Solutions Unit (FLSU) continued to focus on implementing eSolutions on educational leadership and management through innovative programs from July 2008 to June 2009. The Long-Term Capability Building Unit (LTCBU) delivers capability-building packages that run for implementation periods of a minimum of six months. The unit follows the project cycle management process in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of its projects. The Information and Communications Technology Services team supports program activities by developing information and communication materials for various Centre projects, training courses, seminars and workshops. The team also provides documentation services, access to learning resources, assistance in the facilitation and conduct of research and training activities, multimedia support services, upgrade of ICT infrastructure, and maintenance and development of information systems.
