Summary : SEAMEO QITEP in science has launched on 13 July 2009, the centre focuses on the Quality improvement of Science Teachers in Southeast Asia, particularly in Earth and Space Science, Environmental Education, Science Laboratory Management, Classroom Supervision, Research and Development, ICT-base science Learning. The Centre goals to enhance the quality of education personnel in the region and mission of providing relevant and quality programs of professional excellence for science teachers and education personnel through capacity building activities, resource sharing, research and development, and networking. In just two years, the Center have conducted 12 trainings for science teachers and school headmasters, with more than 350 alumni.
