These annotated bibliographies include published and complete but unpublished research reports. Also included are a few T.V. modules for livestock and poultry extension practices. The reports of major species of livestock and poultry are presented under the arbitrary divisions of nutrition, feeding and management, breeding and genetics, and physiology. The processing of animal products and by-products is also reported. Articles on bacon, corned beef and carabeef, ham, and other processed meat products are included. As far as dairy technology is concerned, the areas on liquid milk, butter, and cheese and milk coagulants are covered. Likewise, the microbiological aspects are mentioned. A separate coverage on non-conventional feedstuffs is presented. However, it should not be misconstrued that the topics are the only ones in non-conventional feedstuffs. There are many of these that are discussed in nutrition and feeding and management. They could easily be overlooked as not under non-conventional feeds.
