Title: Community-based Natural Resource Management in the Mountainous Area of Guizhou Province (China).
The project is the continuation and expansion of the previous IDRC funded project: Community-based Natural Resource Management in the Mountainous Area of Guizhou Province, China. As phase 2 of the project, it was started in March, 1998. With the assistantance and participation of GAAS and the government agencies at all levels, through the cooperation and hard work of local government, community people and project team members, the project has been carried out smoothly and achieves obvious intervention results in the past year. The expected annual study and intervention results have been reached.
