A concept that has grown out of the Rice Knowledge Bank is Digital Extension. Digital Extension workshops are offered at IRRI for NGOs, NARES, Farmers, and IRRI partners. The workshop focus on how to use the Rice Knowledge Bank to build rice knowledge capacity that allows participants to make more informed rice production decision for themselves or their constituents.
