Committed to promote biotechnology down to the grassroots, the Department of Agriculture teamed up with the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications (ISAAA) and J. Burgos Media Services in developing a course to help local government units (LGUs) integrate biotechnology in their development strategies. The aim is help improve agricultural production and uplift the living condition of the farmers and rural poor.
