The study present a descriptive profile of Bukidnon farmers and analyze some of their development needs and problems; determine some needs that could be met through the training of lowland rice farmers; identify some variables that tend to be associated with tenure status, education, region of origin, contacts with change agents and other people, types of schools where farmers' children are enrolled, yield of rice per hectare, and distance of farm lots from the town and to propose a plan for the development of the farmers.
