This study was conducted with the following purposes : (1) to make a comparative analysis of selected aspects of the farmer education programs in three development agencies; (2) to determine the opinions of the change agents from the selected agencies on certain aspects of the program; (3) to identify some essential characteristics of a successful farmer program in the agencies and their relationship to adoption of agricultural practices; and (4) to determine whether significant differences exist between farmers served by the selected agencies in certain agricultural indices.
