Seven barrios in the Municipality of Pila, province of Laguna, Philippines, were used in the study. The complete enumeration survey data were taken from 518 household heads by personal interview. The group informants consisted of the barrio captain and six barrio councilors of each of the seven barrios. The same structured interview schedule was used in both survey methods.
