The study attempted to analyze the training curriculum of the Agricultural Institutes and the job performance of the agricultural technicians in Peninsular Malaysia. Specifically, the objectives of this study were : (1) to determine the trainees' perception of adequacy of the various areas of the training program and content; (2) to identify some demographic characteristics and other variables associated with the perception of adequacy of the training program and content and proficiency in job performance; (3) to determine the adequacy of the training curriculum in relation to job performance as perceived by the trainees; and (4) to determine the level of proficiency in job performance of the technicians as perceived by themselves and by their supervisors.
