One of the development irrigation project in Indonesia which a part of big fund from Japanese government is Riam Kanan project irrigation in South Kalimantan. With this project expected to occur to increase people standard of living in project area, among other by means of increase of rice production and harvest area. The average of production from 2 ton/hectare until 4-4,5 ton/hectare. The aim of this research are to know the difference of input using in irrigated area and non irrigated areas, to know the farm production and the factors that influence of rice farming in irrigated and non irrigated areas, to compare income level of rice farming in research area, and to analyze the factors that influence of the income level of rice farming in irrigated and non irrigated areas. The results of this research showed that input using for superior paddy bigger than local in irrigated area. Then, the average of local paddy production per household for planting season I in non irrigated bigger than irrigated area. While the average of superior paddy production in irrigated land bigger than non irrigated in irrigated. In the planting season II, the average of superior paddy production in irrigated land is bigger than non irrigated in irrigated. About the factors that influence, D-DI and DPs are non significant. There is no difference between paddy production in irrigated land and non irrigated in irrigated and also, in Pilot Scheme area or out of the Pilot Scheme area.
