Agriculture is the main source of food, clothing, shelter, medicine and income. It is the mother of all industries. Therefore, a bill should be passed requiring agriculture education subjects be compulsory and part of the curriculum to all levels of education and course curriculum to make them aware the big role of agriculture to everyone. Agriculture education course enrollees are declining. The fact is not only observed in the country but in the whole world. Agriculture education is ardently needed to teach at the early formative learning years of the students. The content of Basic Education Curriculum in the elementary and secondary levels was enough to appreciate the value of agriculture. However, the constraints of time of teaching, its integration to other learning areas and insufficient training of the teachers handling agriculture subjects affect the quality of instruction in agriculture education.
