The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Department for International Development (DFID) and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) undertook a study in 2001-2002 which included a literature review and field trips to three countries to analyze the role of information in livelihoods, and make recommendations on how agencies can capitalize on and integrate the best elements of traditional communication methods and the ICT revolution technologies within the livelihoods approach. This web site presents the key findings, including a series of more detailed country reports for Ghana, Uganda and India.
